LK Advani was Deputy Prime Minister and thereafter got two chances , to win the bid to form Govt in '04 and '09 but lost. At age of 88 he better could sign off and graciously become the mentor . Jaswant Singh was the Cabinet Minister and got all the benefits for his services to the party, His son is a MLA. At 82 he is admirably suited for ,the role of strategist to the party . Murli Manohar Joshi had a checkered past and as cabinet minister showed his acumen and got all the privileges .. But during his days of 2004 - 2014 as a MP of UP,, BJP saw the popularity and vote-share of BJP in UP plummeted. It needed the enormous hard work,vision and all India popularity of Narendra Modi to raise the stature of the party . Prof Joshi with his wisdom has wonderful opportunity to be a guiding force for policy on educational development . BJP's stance on the selection of candidate is absolutely right . The people who go on small personal thinking must face the truth.. The situation is little tricky .As BJP is in high gear, everyone wants to savor the ride on tidal wave of Modi. ,But the party has to indoctrinate the new ones and be firm. For Congress it is easy.. Whoever wants gets a ticket for election . Even cabinet minister P. Chidambaram ran away.. In Congress there is not even enough takers. The rats are jumping off from the sinking ship.

PANUN KASHMIR INTERNATIONAL ENDORSES NARENDRA MODI   Roseburg OR (USA) April 17, 2014   The High Command of the Panun Kashmir International (PKI) has announced its decision to endorse and support the candidacy of Narendra Modi for the post of the next Prime Ministership of India. It appealed to all Kashmiri organizations, their members and all patriotic organizations through out the country to consolidate their ranks behind Modi in voting and supporting the candidates of BJP. Considering the circumstances through which the Hindu community of Kashmir is sailing and the uncertain, chaotic and corrupt conditions prevailing in India that would be the most patriotic thing to do. Modi is what India needs. Modi and his team gives us a new hope, confidence and trust for regaining our homeland from where we were driven out by Islamist terrorists supported by Pakistan and the “sultan of Islamic Terrorism”, “Osama bin Laden”. It said that Modi Govt. was one of the front line regimes in Gujarat that actively supported our youth at their hour of need and in their education and employment. In many ways it even aided the struggle of Kashmiri Hindus to get justice when the federal and J&K Governments were showing cold shoulders.   MODI STRENGTHENS DEMOCRACY AND NATIONAL SECURITY The High Command also highly appreciated Modi’s initiative for demanding a public dialogue, discussion and debate about the merits and demerits of the Sec. 370 of the Indian Constitution and the gains and losses generated by it. The High Command said that actually this constitutional provision, although purely temporary in its character, had become instrumental in building a wall of separation between the state and the rest of the country. And the Islamists, mischief makers, opportunists and separatists, who became the ruling elite of the state, abused this law to the hilt thereby destroying internal harmony, tranquility and jeopardizing national security. We are extremely glad to note that BJP leadership is committed to abrogate this divisive article of the Indian Constitution. Implied in this constitutional provision was that among other things the balance of demographic ratios between the ethnic communities will be maintained without any change. But the governing Muslim regimes of the state and their communal political culture criminally violated it when Kashmiri Hindus and Sikhs were ethnically cleansed, dehumanized, tortured and driven out of their traditional habitat.   MODI SYMBOLIZES NATIONAL POWER & INTEGRATION   PKI welcomed the clear cut statement in the BJP manifesto declaring that “Kashmir was, is and shall remain an integral part of India and that territorial integrity of India is inviolable.” For the past decade the NC+NC (National Congress and National Conference) regimes, God knows under whose influence, maintained deliberate silence on this aspect of the Indo-Kashmir relationship. They even showed reluctance in making such a categorical declaration previously so often used as a mantra by their leaders. Nonetheless the people of Kashmir welcome such a bold stand taken by the BJP leadership. Above all the PKI High Command welcomed the BJP commitment in its manifesto that “ THE RETURN OF KASHMIRI PANDITS TO THE LAND OFTHEIR ANCESTORS WITH FULL DIGNITY, SECURITY AND ASSURED LIVELIHOOD WILL FIGURE HIGH ON THE BJP AGENDA ”. The PKI is committed to support all pragmatic steps by the Modi-Swamy Govt. for the rehabilitation of the exiled communities, their geopolitical empowerment and complete Indianization of J&K state.

ROLE IN GANDHI'S ASASSINATION   Mahatma Gandhi's great grandson Shrikrishna Kulkarni's open letter to Rahul Gandhi in response to the Congress VP saying the RSS had killed Gandhi... Dear Rahul Gandhi, Gandhiji was my great grandfather. He was assassinated by Mr. Nathuram Godse. Many inquiry commissions have researched the case and none has implicated the RSS. My grandfather Ramdas Gandhi wrote to the then Home Minister, Sardar Patel to spare Mr. Godse the capital punishment -- our family had moved on even then... but...just for your information..when Ramdas Gandhi lay dying in Mumbai(1969), Mr. Gopal Godse, the younger brother of Mr. Nathuram Godse did pay him a visit. So as it stands, this issue is squarely in the past and my family has moved on.... ....my humble suggestion -- your folks who own Congress (I) and your goodself...should move on AND QUIT milking the name Gandhi and this issue for your selfish benefits. Have the magnanimity to accept the verdicts of the various commissions. To keep harping that the RSS killed Gandhi is akin to saying the Sikhs killed your GRANDMOTHER...which would be such a petty falsehood isn't it? A couple of guys don't make for a community.... So please stop this charade, stop this opportunistic usage of the Gandhi name. You are not from the Gandhi family. You have fooled too many people for too long in India. Stop it now.
