At present there are 250 inmates
(boys & girls) from Maharashtra, Bihar, UP and Karnataka. Apart from
primary School the children are given vocational training in tailoring,
computer, artificial limbs & caliper workshop, carpentry, electrician
course etc.
This famous organization founded
in 1956 undertakes medical rehabilitation of physically challenged children,
their schooling, prevocational training etc with hostel facility.
At present there are 250 inmates

The orthopaedic operations are also being conducted here free of
charge. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Sri LK Advani, Chief Ministers, Governors, Union Ministers
have visited this prestigious institute. Recently this has been awarded
National Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities 2012 by The Hon.
President of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
